The Boats

Lake Ontario

We run a fully outfitted 2700 Tiara hardtop. With an overall length of 29.5 feet and a width of 10 feet, this boat will comfortably deliver to you a fishing experience not soon forgotten! The Bite Force is rigged with Cannon downriggers/rod holders and Muddy Creek Tackle electric planer boards. As far as electronics go, we have a Raymarine radar, autopilot and GPS, two Garmin fish finders, a Fishhawk down temp/speed probe, and a Furuno FCV-585. This boat has plenty of seating and a 110-gallon RTIC cooler ready to fill up with your limit of walleye or salmonoid. There is also a functional bathroom for your convenience down in the cabin. We carry all the coast guard required safety items.

Lake Erie

Our second boat is a 3600 Tiara soft top. It boasts an overall length of 40 foot with a 14 foot width which provides a very stable platform for a comfortable day of fishing. The Bite Force II comes fully rigged with all the best Muddy Creek Tackle rod holders/electric planer board systems and Cannon Optimum downriggers. We run 2 Garmin sonars so the fish stand no chance of hiding, a top of the line Fishhawk lithium depth and speed probe, along with a Raymarine radar and autopilot. This boat offers a spacious deck and helm with plenty of seating and a giant cooler to fill with your group’s catch. There is a functional bathroom in the cabin for your convenience. We carry all the coast guard regulated safety items with us as well.

The Captains

The Bite Force Fishing Crew is made up of a father and son duo. Captain Ryan on the right and Captain Jackson on the left. They have both had a love for the sport of fishing for many years and decided to turn this out-of-control hobby into a part-time profession.

In 2018 Ryan bought a 24-foot bay boat, to fish some of the local reservoirs, lakes, rivers, and Lake Erie. Eventually, Ryan and Jackson fell in love with fishing the Great Lakes and their obsession has grown from there. Since 2018, they have cultivated their knowledge and skills of fishing and can now successfully bring in a limit of fish under a multitude of different conditions on both Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.

Captains Ryan and Jackson are both USCG certified.

The idea of catching Steelhead on the tributaries draws anglers from across the world to Lake Erie. There is no greater feeling than when the line goes tight, that fish of a lifetime takes off downstream and the fight is on. Fisherman of all skill levels are welcome, and we hope to give you a fun, educational, and memorable experience on Steelhead Alley.

When and Where:

Steelhead start moving up the creeks early October and stick around until April. The stream flows and runs of fish will determine which stream we fish each day. Typically, we will fish the infamous Elk Creek.

We provide all the necessary gear that you need except waders and boots. We will teach you what to look for on the creeks and how to cast a fly rod if you have never fly fished. We are dialed in on our gear set ups and will provide rods and all the flies/terminal that is necessary.
You are welcome to bring your own rod and reel setup if you wish but you are not required to.

Please Bring:

1. Waders and wading boots (we recommend felt soles or studded rubber soles).
2. Appropriate clothing. It tends to be chilly during Steelhead season so make sure you keep an eye on the weather.
3. Sunglasses
4. A small pack with snacks and drinks to take with you down the creek.
